Living a happy  , resilient and optimistic life is essential for your career success and it also has health beenefits. Being happy actually protects you from stress. Also, stress has been linked as the major cause of  stroke, heart related diseases, and stroke, etc.

It has been said that change is the only constant thing in life. We also have the power to make all necessary changes in our life, as long as you want.

Even you face an unbearable situation, you should find solace in the knowledge that it too would change.

       Happiness as a magnetic force

Happiness is contagious. It’s attracted all those that comes closer to it. By implication, if you are always happy, that positive vibration will create happiness in the life of those who are around you. Happiness is attracted to all who chooses to be happy.

In many instances, we allow external circumstances to determine the level of our happiness in life. We also link material possession with happiness. As we have earlier said, happiness is a choice that only you can make. Happiness comes from within and not from without.

The following tips would help create happiness in your life.

        An attitude of gratitude

Being grateful is a great attitude. We have so much to be thankful for. Thank the taxi driver for bring you home safely, thank the cook for a wonderful meal and thank the mailman for bringing your mail safe, thank the police man for making your place safe and thank God for being alive.

               Avoid negative news

News can create stress and in turn truncate your happiness. Only listen to news with positive information and possibility for growth and advancement. Try and think about this, 99% of the news we hear or read on daily basis are negative news.Starting your day with bad news is never a reasonable thing to do.

             Religious afilliation

A religious connection is also recommended.Being part of a religious group with its singing, Sacraments, chanting, prayers and meditation foster inner peace.

           Make your time useful

Time is invaluable and too important to be wasted. Utilizing your time can be seen as having set of rules which includes, scheduling, goal setting, planning and prioritizing. All these are the core of managing your time properly.

            The magic of laughing

Also. you should form the habit of laughing heartily daily. If you heard a good joketell your friends and family about it. Share the gift of laughter and smile with everyone you come in contact with. As it is usually said, laughter is the best medicine.

          Express feelings of affection

Express your feelings, affection, friendship and passion to people around you. They would most likely reciprocateyour actions.Stop being angry and frustrated with things and people around, because it is bad for your health.

                 See work as fun

Working hard brings tremendous personal satisfaction. It gives a feeling of being competent in finishing your tasks.Accomplishments are necessary for all of us. It gives us a sense of value. Work on things that you feel is worth your time. You must realize that work is fun and it should be enjoyed to its maximum.

 Commitment to constant learning

Learning is a joyful exercise. Try and learn something everyday. Learning helps to broaden our horizon and also open doors of opportunities in the future.

                  Exercise daily

Make it a habit to run, jog, walk and do other things that your bodywas made for. Feel alive. Avoid exposure to negative elements. Always remember this quote from Abraham Lincoln, “most people are about as happy as they make uptheir minds to be. ”

Finally, life is too short to live your life in frustration and regrets. Light up the candle of your life. Always wear a , chearful countenance and give every living creature you meet a smile.
